Mazda Az1 Playing to the Japanese microcar rules is the Az1. It has a turbo 660cc engine that should best be described as 666cc because there's definitely the devil in this one. Fabulous handling, gullwing doors, divine silliness at every turn. recently deceased sad to say.

1975 BRICKLIN SV1 V8
A unique American car. The Bricklin car was produced between 1974 and 1976. 2800 were made. This car number is 2645. It has a ford 351 v8 and auto box. It has only done 14000 miles from new. This car has gullwing doors (unfortunately the photographs do not do it justice)
This Bricklin (I believe) is the only one on the road in England. There is one in the Haynes museum.

I found this article Alternative Cars Magazine June 1983 ed. The Ford Saero2 Concept car.
What suppressed me is that 21 years on, all the cars pictured in this article still look futuristic.
